On behalf of the university council, the academic board, faculty, staff, and students, I congratulate you sincerely for your academic achievements. You have reached this milestone because of your determination to improve yourselves intellectually, socially, and spiritually, and now you are ready to go out to render meaningful service to God and humanity.

Through excellence and integrity, Valley View University sends you to the world with hope and courage. We are confident, you “will rise to the tasks ahead of you and serve with sincerity till the last.” We offered you quality education based on our core values, Excellence, Integrity, and Service. We charge you, our dear graduands to faithfully validate these attributes of excellence in everything you do, to display integrity in your workplaces, home, and the community you find yourselves, and to selflessly offer service to the country that have invested much in you.

Being one of the largest educational systems in the world, the Adventist philosophy of education is unique in the preparation of our students for selfless service to God and humanity. As a Seventh-day Adventist institution of higher learning, our philosophy is based on sound Biblical principles that promotes the preparation of our students for life in this world and in the world to come.

You have been prepared purposefully, to be men and women of substance, better yet, we wish for you to be courageous leaders, transformers of society, passionate scholars and educators committed to change the world and make it a better place for the next generation.

In our 45 years journey in private tertiary education in Ghana, Valley View University has led the way and has contributed to the socio-economic fabric of our nation in the areas of social and health sciences, computing and information technology sciences, business and agricultural technology education, and teacher education. Our graduates have found work in diverse fields as engineers, mayors, medical doctors and health professionals, finance and business professionals, and in government establishments both in Ghana and abroad. 

Wherever your paths may lead, remember that you are a recognizable piece of the dreams our founders carved to train faithful workforce to contribute to building safe societies in this world. As a Seventh-day Adventist mission institute of higher education, we charge you to be an example to the societies you find yourselves in and where your services may lead, be an example.

As a Christian University, we are proud of you all, our goal has been to ensure that you achieved the relevant education, an education that is wholistic as prescribed in our value statements. We entreat you, therefore, to take personal inventories of what your lives have been so far, and the journeys ahead. Take a moment to reflect on the mercies of God and be assured that God is still leading in your lives. Finally, be a faithful alumnus to your alma mater.
